Racing Trailor
Clive Stoneman and Rowland Broomfield are the 2004 Cornish Centre 1000cc R/H sidecar grass track champions and 2002 and 2003 South West Centre and Southern Centre champions, so when they approached Line-X North Devon to see if we could help protect their custom built racing trailer from all the after effects of a busy afternoons grass track racing, we were only to pleased to help.
One of the obvious problems that Clive and Rowland suffered with was that they were unable to clean the mud from the sidecar at the track, so they would end up loading a muddy machine onto their trailer for the journey home. Once home they would then have to unload the machine and clean out the trailer. As the floor was wood and sides of the trailer were ply lined, steam cleaning the trailer wasn’t a very practical solution.
We sprayed Line-X onto the ply lined sides and then onto the wooden floor of the trailer completely sealing the wood and protecting it from all the chemicals related with motor sports, i.e. Petrol, oil, grease and even the effects of water and detergent when steam cleaning the inside of the trailer.
Just to add a bit of colour to the occasion, it was decided to go with yellow sides and royal blue floor, the shelving and worktop was also sprayed royal blue to complement the colour scheme.
Both Clive and Rowland were so happy with the end result that they have agreed to have the Line-X logo across the front and rear of their trailer to promote the advantages of Line-X to the rest of the racing community.
